We will remain OPEN. Our capacity is reduced in order to practice safe distancing techniques and to prevent having people share space in our reception area. All treatment rooms are fully sanitized as each patient leaves, common areas are cleaned all day long with additional sanitizing every half hour.
All non-essential offices in our community are closing. We are designated as an essential healthcare business per NY Executive Order 202.6, 202.7. We are to treat urgent, acute and doctor ordered care. Those seen for maintenance are to be rescheduled at a later date.
At this time when hospital and urgent care facilities are being overwhelmed with sick people, we are here to provide care for musculoskeletal conditions, reducing the need for these patients to utilize critical resources as ERs, urgent care centers and hospitals.
Chiropractic will continue to play an integral and necessary role in the coming days to reduce any burdens on the already stricken healthcare system.
Be patient with us. We are short staffed due to only essential staff being allowed in the office. We must continue to pre-screen over the phone and at the office to be sure you can be seen. If you are not well, , have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath we will not schedule you, but refer to your primary for instruction.
We will not schedule you for an appointment if any family members have symptoms or confirmed cases of corona virus, or if you have been instructed to self-isolate or to self-quarantine. Hours may be modified or changed in upcoming days. We will keep you updated.
We emphasize optimal health, wellness and active lifestyle. Do the things that nourish and support you body. Eat and drink well, move your body, keep your stress levels down, go outside, soak up some sunshine and fresh air, go for walks if you are able, play games, play music, do your prescribed stretches and exercises. As always keep up with your vitamins and supplements, especially Vitamin D and C.
As always, I respect and am ever grateful for your trust in me to care for you and your families. Please stay safe and well. We are in this together.
